Color variations and grain will vary from plank to plank within a batch; variations from samples are to be expected. Color changes may occur from exposure to UV rays. Note that small sample or planks do not accurately represent the level of knots that occur through the entire floor. Sapwood, rays, shakes, and other natural features of wood may not be apparent on the sample. Sapwood is much lighter colored wood that does not absorb color treatment. Some grades have more knots than others; please check with us if you need more clarification. Knot filler color varies depending on product.
